The volumes "Atmosphere," "Biosphere," "Hydrosphere," and "Lithosphere" are a collection of essays that delve into the multifaceted dimensions of the Earth. These essays explore the intricate layers that compose our planet, examining the dynamic interplay between its physical, biological, and atmospheric systems.

By traversing the realms of landscape, design, environmental studies, and the built environment, this collection transcends traditional boundaries in understanding the Earth. The essays reflect on both the tangible and intangible components that shape our world, including the sediments of time and memory that contribute to its essence. This approach provides a unique lens through which to view the interconnectedness of the Atmosphere, Biosphere, Hydrosphere, and Lithosphere.

The essays in these volumes are crafted to engage and provoke thought, encouraging readers to consider the delicate balance and dynamic interactions within and between these spheres. Each volume offers insights into how these components influence and shape one another, painting a comprehensive picture of our planet's complexity. Moreover, they explore the impact of the built environment on these natural systems, highlighting the role of architecture and urban design in shaping and responding to ecological challenges.

This project aims to inspire a deeper appreciation and a more profound understanding of the Earth's systems. It seeks to foster a dialogue that bridges scientific inquiry, artistic expression, and innovative thinking within the context of architecture and environmental design. By doing so, it offers a holistic perspective on the challenges and opportunities in preserving and enhancing our planet.

Earth

The volumes Atmosphere, Biosphere, Hydrosphere and Lithosphere are a collection of essays that are under the topic of earth.

The sediments of the time and memory are the intangible components that build the four volumes.

A biosphere (Ancient Greek: βίος [bios] for “life”, and σφαίρα [sphaira] for “sphere”) is the global ecological system integrating all living beings and their relationships, including their interactions with the elements of the lithosphere, hydrosphere, and atmosphere. It is the global sum of all ecosystems. It can also be termed as the zone of “life on Earth,” a closed system (apart from solar and cosmic radiation and heat from the interior of the Earth), and largely self-regulating.
